School days...

We entered into school first grade without knowing what all he knew, and all he could learn.

By second grade, he was showing us he knew far more than we could have imagined.  And was starting to make friends who have lasted through today.

Third grade started off pretty rocky, and he was getting over a big surgery, but Batman was ready to bounce back and show them how tough he was!

Fourth grade also started a little more on the rocky side, when seizures were taking up all his extra energy.  

And now, we have a fifth grader.  His last year of elementary school (although I don't want to think much about that yet!).  We've had a lot of moments in his life up to this point which would tell me we wouldn't see this day.  But, Max has something else in mind.   He's not done showing us all what he's got.  Here's to another incredible year of school. learning, and friends!
