(Momma will help me translate this for you.)

It's me, Max again!

Momma's letting me type on the blog today since I'm pretty good on the computer these days.  I've been using the computer every day, even a couple of times a day for school, so I think I'm a pro by now!  Yesterday, when my teacher was telling me good-bye, I decided to hang up the skype call all by myself.  I just hit the mouse button, and hung up.

I've also been using my computer talker to communicate better with my new friends at school.  I have been asking them what their names are, and what their favorite colors are.  They like to ask me what I like to eat.  I just tell them pizza, because every kid likes pizza, even if they can't chew it and swallow it.

My mom has a lot of things to put in my talker to get it all ready for school.  But, this way I can use it to show my new teachers how smart I really am.  We're learning about science, air and weather, and my teacher wants to make sure I'm understanding what they are teaching me.  So, Momma will put lots of answers to questions into my dynavox computer and I will be able to tell my teacher all about air and weather.

We have been doing science experiments in class, and my teacher has been making sure to include me in all of them through skype!  I get to join the class for reading and writing time, and then again for science or math in the afternoon.  I'm getting SO SMART from all this school!  I think science is fun because it's messy sometimes.   We got to play with water, and feathers, and parachutes, all to see how air moves things.  Momma set up my fan since I have a harder time blowing through a straw.  So, I just turn my fan on with my switch when I'm ready to make things move!

I really made my Momma smile the other day when I recognized a balloon was wearing a yellow hat. She was so surprised! I got into my choices on my computer talker and told her and my teacher it was the man in the yellow hat from Curious George.  I think my teacher was surprised I made that connection too.  They'll catch on one of these days, I just have to keep making them smile and surprising them!

I've been working so much at school, and so has my sister that I think we need to just have a really fun weekend!  Maybe the cool weather we've been having will stick around!  Momma told me it snowed in the mountains!  It's my favorite time of the year right now!  And I'm already telling all of my therapists that my birthday is soon, on Halloween!

I think that's all I have for now.  My Momma says it's time for me to eat again, and we'll go on a walk to get the mail.  I LOVE going outside when it's nice and cool!!

Love,
MAX
