Max goes to work...

Max had an adventure yesterday.  He went to visit Daddy at work, for the first time ever!  For the first time in Max's life, Daddy doesn't work at home.  He's been setting up shop and Max was excited to surprise him on a Friday afternoon for a visit.

It's been a learning curve for this Momma to be flying solo during the day, but Max is being a great helper and was especially helpful as I drove through afternoon traffic to take him to Daddy's office.

Max got to check out Daddy's classroom and pretend like he was the instructor.  His favorite part was the slicky floors....he and Daddy can race super fast on the slicky floors!

Daddy showed him his laboratory, and all the machines he uses in his work.  Max has an idea of what his Dad does for work, but he's never actually seen all the machines in use.  Steve took him to check out things under the big magnifying computer.

They looked at a computer circuit board magnified.  But, what else?  

 They went outside to find some treasures.  A pinecone...

And a cool rock... 

Max got to meet everyone and see some of the pals he already knows.  He waited patiently while Daddy finished up and then we convinced him to ride home with us, so Momma didn't have to drive the big van back home through traffic.

When is take your child to work day? Max will be ready to go!
