We have an annual pass to the
Botanic Gardens in Denver. It's a great way for us to get to enjoy some of these pay each time parks with Max. Sometimes he'll let us go through the entire garden without needing to leave. Other times, we barely make it through the first part and he's just not in the mood, so we turn around and leave. It makes leaving so quickly easier to know that we didn't have to pay for four people to get in, just to have to leave so soon.
A couple of weeks ago, we went to look for some yellow flowers on our first taste of Spring. When we entered the gardens, I noticed a sign that said "Sensory Garden", and walked Max over to it.
The whole area is made for patrons with disabilities to be able to enjoy the gardens with all the senses. There were very few things blooming, but we'll be going back in the coming weeks to try to see more!
