It was best buddy at first sight for these two. Max lifted his hand on his own to pet George. Jeana, the breeder, brought George...then called Hunter...out to meet Max. He went straight to him to say hello.

Max ran his toes through George's curly hair.

George shared his blue bunny with Max...and his orange stuffed animal...and his ball.

And Max got a few million kisses from George.

We decided this was Max's George, and worked out all the details to bring him home. He got up in Max's van and laid down between him and Abbey.

When we got home, George scoped his new digs out.

And found Max.

Then, Olive and George got down to serious business. Barking and Pouncing. . . for two hours.
They finally calmed down.
We gave Max his bath, and curious George was there sniffing it all out the whole time. When we put Max in bed, and George jumped up there by him and laid on his feet.
George and Olive have sandwiched me in on the couch. George is quite the cuddler.
He is a good, good boy. He's a blue standard poodle. His dad came out for a hello while we were meeting George.
He's been trained to go outside to do his potty business. And to not bark, and not jump up on people. He's 4.5 months old, and just a puppy still!
Tomorrow we will be getting him a food & water bowl, and crate, and tags, and get an appointment at the vet, and sort out his training, and let Max enjoy his very own GEORGE!!!!

Delighted!
Almost the best post ever! Except the one where I was there too :) So happy and what a handsome boy George is!
This is so exciting!
Oh my gosh, you guys! This is the BEST, BEST, BEST thing!!
Is it just me or does everyone else notice that George's legs are long, long, long just like Max's? Those two are going to be tall drinks of water when they're fully grown!
Oh, soooo happy. Just beaming over here. :)
Beautiful! Exciting!
What a wonderful addition to your house! I love his name!
