This photo was taken in the PICU in November 2004. Max spent a month in the PICU in the fall of 2004 with double pneumonia and four failed extubations (trying to get him off of a ventilator). This was captured near the end of his visit.
Today I saw the PICU nurse who was on when this picture was taken. She rolled him to his tummy and got him comfortable in the bed for some tummy time.
