Thanksgiving is...

Cooking with my family...we are thankful for the food we have to share...and the recipes handed down, so we can have a taste of "home" away from home.

Having both of our children with us this holiday. I was met with a great big hug and a great big "I've missed you!". Then we got right into the groove of having our girl here. I woke up to a great big smiling Max. As soon as he saw me get up he rolled over and went back to sleep. Giving momma a couple of hours of quiet before the festivities begin!

A warm cozy house. Gas to keep the fire lit, and that turkey cookin'.

A job for both my husband and myself. His work that is so flexible with him working from home. And my work for being there to let me do what I do best, care for Max.

For my friends here that are always here for us, and treat us like family.

For my friends around the world that are always there for us, and treat us like family.

For my husband, who is my everything. My perfect match.

All my brothers and sisters, each one makes up a bit of who I am.

My parents. Who love me and encourage me.

Having good health. That we are able to afford healthcare, and Max is so taken care of. That the rest of us have healthy lives, and know how quickly it can be taken from us.

Max's doctors. They give of themselves above and beyond for our little guy over and over again. Because they believe in him, and us.

My special mom friends, who understand more than anyone what my life is like.

Transportation. That we have a vehicle, that will get us where we need to go. And hopefully, sometime soon, can get a vehicle to get us to the places we want to go!

Celebrating with the family we have near. And all of them being sensitive to our uncommon needs with Max.

I feel very thankful, for all I have. And I don't know that I could ever put it into writing, or even words. Every single day is a gift to us. And it's so nice to be able to stop and focus an entire day around that.

Happy Thanksgiving to all...I hope your turkeys turn out perfectly, your pies are scrumptious, and you mashed potatoes are not lumpy. :)
