The Great Pumpkins...

Most years we go out to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins for carving.  The past couple of years, it has gotten increasingly difficult to take Max in his wheelchair, so this year, we did things easier by going to the grocery store to buy pumpkins, and take photos on the front porch!

Cousin Addie was so excited to have her pumpkin carved that we started with photos then chose which pumpkins the kids wanted for carving.

Addie directed where each pumpkin should go.

And Abbey jumped in for her photo too...

Then Addie and Abbey surrounded Max with pumpkins...

Then we got to business of carving pumpkins.   Addie wanted a unicorn, Max got Batman, and Abbey did a Mr. Bones...

I love these pics - that Addie is a character, she reminds me of Penny, except Addie seems nicer! :) Love the skeleton pumpkin too - we always just do regular faces!

She is a lot of fun to have around! And she is a sweetie!

I prefer regular jack-o-lantern faces, but kids these days...... ;) We always put Max's age on his pumpkin somewhere, and whatever he's been into that past year.

That's some serious pumpkin carving! Great photos -- and I always love how you include Max in everything -- he is one happy kid!

Thanks Elizabeth...we try to include Max in everything. I wish we could travel together as a family...that would be the best. But, we have our happy surroundings here and we try to enjoy them as much as we can every day.
